In a world where dating isn't the easiest thing to do as one gets older I sure give PP credit. She is starting young and more power to her.
I have a friend whose daughter just turned three. She has a purse she carries around with her boyfriend's picture in it. Everyone she meets she shows the picture to and tells them he is her boyfriend and she loves him. It is so funny to hear a 3 year old speak of her "boyfriend" at preschool. Ocassionally she even kisses his picture!

Hi Kristen--thanks for the great comment. Who knew that daycare would become our kids' first dating place?

Too cute. It's funny that you brought this up as my son, "Colbmeister", too has a little crush at daycare.

After 4 months of enjoying a maternity leave it was a reality check to drop him off his 1st FULL day at daycare and head back to work. Of course I called a ton the first few days, but it got better after that since on day 2 I picked him up and the teachers in his room started giggling. I was wondering what was going on and she started to say... well, I just thought you'd like to know that Colbmeister has adjusted just fine. He seems to be quite the ladies man. I was just kinda standing there with this perturbed look until she went on - Yes, he's got a girlfriend. What? He's only 4 months old! :) Sure enough, Colbmeister and little Anita (ha - an older woman as she was 6 months) were sitting on his teachers lap in the rocking chair and he had reached over to hold her hand! Awwww, guess I'm not the only one that thinks he's adorable.

Sure enough Colbmeister is 9 months old now and he and Anita have moved into the next Infant room. Whenever I pick him up to go home, they are always together playing, reading a book or just sitting there enjoying each others company having what seems to be such a funny conversation of baby babble but looking as if they understand each other completely. It seems this bond may be stronger than we think as Anita crawls over to us as I pack him up in his car seat each day and begins to cry when we leave. Poor baby... little do you know that in only a few short hours you'll be back spending the day together again - Oh how wonderful it would be to have no concept of time again?!

How sweet and innocent love is...
