Now when we road trip to Florida from Nashville we leave mid-morning and hit McDonald's for good road food and an early lunch. Keep on truckin', turn on a DVD, and the girls zone out for hours. I also pack Leapsters and those Magnadoodle boards, too. It's good to pack some bribes, I mean snacks, that they covet, too. (Like fruit snacks in their favorite character theme.) On our last road trip in May, however, we hit horrific rush hour traffic in Birmingham. NOT fun for anyone involved! It gets easier as they get older (and you can leave during the day!)
