Latest “wondrous” moment: My husband and I were recently on vacation in the Yucatan peninsula and I went zip-lining for the first time. Those who know me well know that I really don’t like heights, but there was something really energizing about jumping off of a 60 foot tower and gliding through the jungle. I started off in the first tower screaming and by the end I was laughing.
You just have to know this about me: I have known my husband for almost half of my life. We met in typing class after I fell off my chair (not because I was so taken by my future husband but I would always rock back in my chair). Of course, Joe was there to make fun of me the rest of the year. The rest is history. I married my high-school sweetheart - we have been together for fourteen wonderful years and married for six of them.
My favorite children’s book is: Bernstein Bears – I still have some of my favorites from this series on my book shelf! I think I just liked the characters, but my mom always liked that they taught a lesson.
If someone said “Go to your Happy Place,” where would you go?: That is easy; I am a homebody and a bit of a neat freak (my husband believes I suffer from OCD) so my happy place would be a clean house on a Sunday afternoon, laying on the “sweet spot” on our sectional and watching my favorite shows that I have DVR’d from the week.
The first thing I think of when I wake up is: What I wouldn’t give for fifteen more minutes of sleep!
