Here is what I have found…..
grandad or granddad
This word can be spelled either way, although grandad is more common.
I saw a forum on Yahoo. Someone’s argument was……
grandfather = granddad.
Other’s say Granddad looks funny…..I agree…..but we are both right.
I have to say I call my grandfather “Pop-Pop” so I was unsure of the spelling. My spell check corrected Grandad and replace it with Granddad.
