Fantastic post! Three favorites from my five year-old:
Why does the TV make that funny noise when you turn it on and off quickly?
Why can’t birds sing backwards?
Why doesn’t the universe have a centre? (Whoa! He certainly doesn’t get this deep thought from me!!!)
So pleased I’ve written some of these down or I’d have forgotten all of them…

One time my 4yo asked me “what do I look like?” and when I said “a boy” he said “what’s that?”. HUH?

I saw a little peek into that long story of yours and I bet having the experiences you’ve had with your son bring a great appreciation and perspective to things a lot of us wouldn’t have.
