Ready for the Road Ahead – Bloggers Behind the Scenes
Posted by Lindsay Lebresco in September 5th 2008
A few months back, a group of incredibly talented people met in a large, impressive boardroom in New York City where the steamy coffee flowed freely, the scrumptious croissants were buttered generously, the free wireless streamed effortlessly and of course, yours truly was there. (well if we have to get technical, I wasn’t actually invited) Either way, I was certainly glad I was there because the team, which actually is incredibly talented (though the rest of that was a wee bit exaggerated), came up with the program concept for a new, very exciting, parenting resource called “Ready for the Road Ahead.”
One of the pieces of this program that we were all really excited about, was a chance to get some of our bloggy friends involved. We reached out to Sheila, Joe, Kelcey and Vicky to help us create this resource using some of their brilliant parenting insights that they frequently share with their own blog readers. They graciously accepted the opportunity and thus ensued a swift and spectacular 2 days together in lovely Atlanta, Georgia. Here are some of the posts they shared with their readers before, during and after our little adventure together…

Let’s Talk Graco, Shall We?
What we created, with their help, is a pretty cool online resource for parents called “Ready for the Road Ahead.” This program doesn’t officially launch until Monday, but I wanted to give you a little sneak peek at what’s to come and better yet, show some of the embarrasing funny behind-the-scenes footage of the bloggers who were thankfully, great sports.

I had so much fun. Thank you for including me. And I am ready for the road ahead!
This was so much fun. You all are wonderful to work with! Thank you!
