I am very excited to tell you about a new parenting resource website that Graco just launched called Ready for the Road Ahead. Ready for the Road Ahead is an online tool built to help parents obtain car seat information as well as travel tips and advice as their child grows from infancy to 10 years old.
Graco understands that parents can sometimes feel overwhelmed by the many car seat options available in the marketplace, so we are here to make your car seat shopping experience a little bit easier. In order to do that, we have built several online resources to help you with the car seat selection process:
Car Seat Selector Tool - This tool will allow parents to input a range of factors that will help in selecting the right car seat for their child
Web videos - There are numerous videos that show proper car seat installation, detailed product information as well as parenting tips and tales about hitting the road with children.
Parent Expertise- A group of parent bloggers will share information about how they prepare for the road with their own family

Tips for traveling with children – Provided by experts and parents alike
Twitter - Ready for the Road Ahead will link viewers to Twitter where “followers” will receive one tweet every day with a tip on how to be prepared for traveling with your child
Along with the Ready for the Road Ahead online resources, you have the opportunity to join the Ready. Safe. Go! Car Seat Club. Here is our very own blogger Kim Lefko introducing the club:
The purpose of the club is to keep members informed with helpful tips on how to make their road trips with their children more enjoyable. For every ten people who enroll in the club, Graco will donate one car seat to organizations serving families in need, up to $100,000 [MSRP] worth of car seats!
Graco has also partnered with Babies ‘R’ Us to run a national sweepstakes promotion for one lucky person to win a NEW DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. Two hundred people will win $50 gas cards as well! All entries must be made in store during the month of September in support of National Baby Safety Month.
