Time for a hairy update:
Gus just got a minor trim.
Reading grades are on the rise.
And me – I’m thinking about going for the Ben Franklin look just to embarrass my wife.

Haha! Funny stuff! I catch myself saying, “What is up with these kids and their haircuts (or lack-thereof?)” But then I remember that used to shave the sides and back of my head and let the top grow down to my shoulders…yup, I was a real rocker looking kid at one point. Now I couldn’t have that haircut if I tried (due to little hair on the top of my head.) I think you are doing the right thing by letting him grow his hair how he wants it…after all Dad, it is the cool thing to do.

Isn’t it funny that hair is the topic of conversation at some point in every child’s life?! Speaking of which… we’re excited that our Colbmeister finally HAS hair – at 15 months it is slowly growing in from the blonde peach fuzz that it has been all along. And so funny that I, too, just blogged about his hair – the milesone 1st haircut!

My husband is retired Navy and my son has had a crew cut since he was 2. I am sure the day is coming when he rebels against the crew cut!
