“Have a peaceful New Year.” It’s a phrase that many of us say at this time of year to our loved ones, friends, co-workers and even to the sales clerk at the store. It’s such a simple phrase, but filled with a lot of dimension, meaning, love and optimism.
This seemingly simple phrase covers the larger desire for world peace so that all people and cultures can live harmoniously and safely, as well as a wish for that “inner peace” that allows us to enjoy all of the little moments the make up our lives. Right now many of us are sharing in those little moments as we gather with friends and family to celebrate the holidays, and I’m no exception. Enjoying time with my husband, Punkin’ Bear, and Lady Bug (on her first Christmas!) I wanted to send my wishes to you and your families for a very happy, and peaceful 2009 in every sense of the phrase!
