I do agree with "Casual Friday Everyday" that it can be a little scary if it is your SON versus your daughter...although probably a little more scary for the dads out there!! I actually just hung out with the Lebresco kids for a night - B was being picky about what socks to wear to bed and Jagger HAD to wear leg-warmers under his PJ's w/ mis-matched socks. Kids are hilarious!!! Love it! Good call removing the out of season shoes. I still hear the stories of me dressing myself- snow boots in the spring and boat shoes in the fall. I was a weirdo! Luckily my mom had a pin I would wear that said "I dressed myself today" so my daycare wouldn't think it was my mother's doing. Cute post Melissa! B is the same way! She's been very into shoes since 18 months - she has the same princess pack of shoes but she seems to prefer my shoes- I think they're louder (which kids inevitably gravitate towards) And yeah- I was never a girly girl so I just thought this was so funny! Over the last couple months we have moved away from the shoe obsession into clothes. She does about 10 outfit changes a day (none that match/look good!) and has even has a BIG opinion about which pajamas she wears (she would prefer that her big girl underpants match her PJs) Yikes!
