Favorite [hidden] features of the Graco Sweetpeace
Posted by Lindsay Lebresco in February 10th 2009
It’s funny that it turns out that a lot of people’s favorite features of the Graco sweetpeace Newborn Soothing Center are the ones they didn’t even realize were there! We thought we’d take a minute to point these favorite [hidden] features out to you:
1. The MP3 player is the one that gets people excited- it’s high-tech and just plain cool! If you’re tired of the classical music and the babbling brook is putting you to sleep too, plug in your iPod and listen to some Coldplay- it’s relaxing and who’s to say you can’t enjoy the tunes as well?!
2. sweetpeace’s removable seat means that you can take the seat off and move it/use it in any room of your house! (My favorite? The bathroom. I liked knowing I could keep an eye on my little one just by peeking out of the shower curtain- that is, on the days I managed to get a shower with a newborn!)
3. When the seat is removed, replace it with your Graco car seat! That’s right- sweetpeace accepts a Graco infant car seat! If you’re baby is dozing off just as you’re pulling in the driveway, keep them content in the sweetpeace while you put your groceries away. Baby’s happy - you’re happy. Win. Win.
And hey, you may really like the integrated swaddle blanket or the adjusting, light-filtering canopy- honestly, we think all the features are cool but we just wanted to make sure you knew we thought of everything

I must say, that car seat thing is effing brilliant. Makes me almost consider springing for a brand new swing for the next baby — buuuut since a friend just offered me a nearly new swing that I also like, it probably won’t happen. If I was just starting out and expected to have a few kids, tho, I’d totally spring for one of these.
Baby #2 arrives next month and we have our Graco sweetpeace ready and waiting. I can’t wait to give it a try. I especially love the MP3 player feature…
Wow, that’s something! I’d never even heard of it before! We’ll be using our Graco swing with #3 that has (so far) lasted through the first two babies. All our Graco stuff is so well made, I haven’t had to replace anything! : )
I’ve been eyeing (sp?) this since the day I saw it debut in the store and on the website. With baby #2 on the way, what’s the likelihood you think I could convince my hubby that we need ANOTHER piece of baby gear?!
