But anyway, I have to comment b/c I DID NOT find out the gender of my baby (but 'knew' in my gut that I was having a boy)... AND I DID :) SO there I was -overjoyed with a healthy little boy... and ALL yellow clothes :) I could have kicked myself, but quickly got over it- he was a 1st grandchild - and I was quickly inundated with blue everything :) Just for the record- I think you are having a boy and what I tell everyone about boys is this: It is so wonderful how SWEET little boys are- esp. to their mamas... my son is a 'guy's guy' but SO SWEET. I've been told the "most true" old wives tale is that if your body hair grows more quickly its a boy and if it grows slower its a girl. That would make mine a boy! I've been told why spoil the surprise....UMMM cause how can you buy the cutest things ever if you don't know...I guess you could always go neutral with everything but how bland can that get? Especially if your on baby #4 like me. (by the way mine is a GIRL! again..lol..I already have 2 girls and 1 boy). And I started to gather the cutest girl things I can find. As far as the old wives tale, this little girl's heart rate has been anywhere from 143-156 and its a girl, so don't hold much stock into that. But I have found it to be true that if you crave meat and potatos, its a boy and if you crave fruits and veggies, its a girl. Right now you can give me Shrimp and a fruit salad and I would be in my glory. And by the way one more thing, I understand the need to get everything. I had gotten rid of everything but the crib then found out I was pregnant. So here we go from scratch. By the way, I'm due in April. Oh I know the feeling of needing to know.
