Wondrous Wednesday #63

Well, it has been a long 20 weeks waiting to find out what I’m having. I have been so certain that I was having a little boy. The signs were there–different pregnancy, low heart rate, only morning sickness for a few weeks, eating meat & carbs, carrying low, indigestion- you name it. Even PP thought she was having a baby brother. (She even decided “Ruby” wouldn’t cut it so she named him “Hermie” instead).

We had our 20 week ultrasound on Monday & when asked if we wanted to find out the gender, of course we said YES!! Well, to my surprise (and PP’s), we are going to be having another GIRL! PP was in disbelief when the tech said it was a girl- she was still insistent that she would be having a little brother (and is still saying that). So, bring on the pink toys, pink blankets, pink towels, pink clothes….

And interestingly enough, according to our poll here on the blog, almost 75% of you either found out or plan to find out the gender of your baby before birth.  I’m in good company!

I love seeing that little picture of her. However you forgot to mention the most important thing… is she healthy? ;)

Congratulations! When my son saw the picture on my screen he said, “Is that a picture of our baby moving around inside our tummy?” : ) Ours will be here in about a month!

Thank you so much for all of your well wishes. I should have mentioned that #2 (we will start calling her “Ruby”) is perfectly healthy & doing awesome.

Hooray for sisters! We just welcomed a second little girl into our family on Friday and it’s already wonderful. You’re going to love it.

    Wishing you all the best…
