Graco’s in Atlanta! Today is move-in day.
Posted by Kim Lefko in June 29th 2009
You may recall our announcement several months ago that we would be taking another step in our 52 year journey. Well, we have taken that step. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter- our first day in Atlanta, Georgia, our new headquarters for Graco and Baby & Parenting Essentials.
Already we have been welcomed with a Home & Family Breakfast this morning by our sister company, Calphalon, and later today an Ice Cream Social hosted by another sister company, Goody. Many of us can’t lose sight of the many boxes awaiting our return at home and a small part of us hopes some will miraculously disappear. A move is exciting, a little scary but together, we are excited about what the future holds. We are believers that change is the door to opportunity. And today, we walk through that door.
Obviously this move comes with incredibly mixed emotions as Pennsylvania is the birthplace of our brand and as many of you see on this blog, our people are an important aspect of “who” we are as a company. Though saying goodbye to some of the folks that have made us who we are has been very difficult, we fully believe that this move to Atlanta will make us better equipped to realize our vision of enriching every family’s journey and every child’s development.
Most importantly, especially for our consumers, we make a promise to stay true to our guiding principles that were the birth of our company and continue to guide our business decisions today.
Graco is:
• Born out of a love for tinkering
• Built in a village based on trust
• Embodied with a passion for being the best
• Committed to doing the right thing
• Dedicated to taking time for the little things
A great quote for our day today – “There is an abundance of hope which lies between yesterday and tomorrow.” We are excited to be here!

“Welcome!” from this born & raised GA girl:)
Ditto from another GA gal and FTM as of mid August… 6 weeks give or take!
Hope the move goes smoothly! I didn’t realize Graco was affiliated with Calphalon and Goody. All great companies, in my book.
Congratulations and god luck!
Congrats on the move. Change is always super exciting…albeit a little scary too.
You didn’t leave Lindsay Lebresco behind, did you? I met her at BlogHer last year and she was super friendly.
I, for one, am happy you made the move from PA to GA. It’s a few states closer to my home state (AZ) - which may come in handy if Graco ever hosts a Mom Blogger event.
P.S. I didn’t know you were “related” to Calphalon and Goody. What great “siblings” to have!
Welcome to the building! I’m so glad to see Graco in Atlanta. See you all in the fitness center?! (I work for the company that runs your fitness center in the new building in Atlanta)
