What a lovely, relaxing room. It's great to hear about companies that consider nursing moms.

Is Graco also friendly/accommodating to moms who want to bring their babies to work with them?

Oh my goodness I have pumped in all of those places as well. Well, except the celebrity party. And yes it is worth it but still I must admit I will be glad when the pumping is done.

Your list is quite complete I'd say. Kudos to Graco for always keeping it a great place to work.

We'll have to add another post in honor of the week that covers The Most Exotic Places You Have Breastfed You Baby!

I could add a few top picks for that one and it's only been 5 weeks with PJ nursing. (Well, I guess I have quite a few from when the Colbmeister was nursing as well 2 years ago.)

I'm sure there will be more exciting places, but for now I'd have to say nursing my 12 day old little man in a church at a wedding WHILE the bride and entire wedding party were walking down the aisle! Nice! Yes, I promptly apologized to the bride and groom that the slurping on the wedding video was in fact PJ. Or perhaps at the reception in the bridal suite when all the groomsmen decided it was time to take their ties off. Whoopsy, guess I should have put up a sign - oh well nothing they won't see at some point. Modesty has gone completely out the window at this point. :)

Oh the things we will do for our children!

I think your list was amazing, you are a very determined mama! I never was much of a pumper but thank you for the insight on it and I happily linked you to my World Breastfeeding article this week http://3kidsandus.com/2009/world-breastfeeding-week-my-journey/

Love your list! I was also very fortunate to work for a company that provided us with a great pumping room (too bad they are letting us go at the end of the year, but I guess that's another post). They also sent me many places while I was pumping, but were supportive of my needs, even shipping milk back at times to ensure I could keep my "stash" full enough to provide milk while I was out of town. Here's my short list of places I've pumped...

-in a dressing room
-downstairs in a bathroom stall at a wedding reception
-too many airline bathrooms and parking lots to count
-a manufacturing facility nurses station
-in a car driving 65mph (I too was the passenger!)
-various offices at other facilities I was visiting
-in a huge slow line waiting to cross the border back to the US
-in my daughter's room while nursing her (in case you're struggling with supply and need some extra milk, this is a great way to boost how much you can pump, though it's a hard balancing act at first!)
