I’m not really an announcement kind of person. So, I’m just going to say it- I am pregnant. There! Cat’s out of the bag. Whew!
If you know my husband, this is probably old news. He can barely contain his excitement. It shouldn’t be a big deal for me to make such an announcement. I meant to say something sooner. It’s rather surreal to think we are having a another baby after a 5 year struggle with infertility, three miscarriages and numerous other obstacles. The odds were certainly not in our favor. As a result, my “to tell” timeline was always changing. First, I said I’d wait until after the first trimester. Then I was going to say something after my 16 week ultrasound. Instead, I decided to wait until after I got my amnio results (everything is fine!). And here I am, finally saying something after 18 long weeks. It’s hard to believe I’m almost halfway through my pregnancy already!
If you thought I was looking a little thick in the middle lately, it’s for a good cause. I do not need Weight Watchers at work, thank you very much. Well… at least not until January.
