Very informative- I'm embarrassed to say I did not know any of the facts you mentioned here. I'm also ashamed to say that although I did send cards, it is almost 10pm and I haven't called my parents or in-laws yet! This post was a great reminder about the important role our parents play in our children lives and I just KNOW you are going to be the BEST grandmom!
