Two years ago, I wrote a post to my daughter, PP, for her 2nd birthday. I was inspired by other fellow bloggers that wrote birthday wishes to their kids. I think it is such a sweet gesture & something that you can keep for your child. So this year, I wanted to write about PP’s ”big” milestones.
– “Big Sister“–by far this is probably the biggest thing to happen to PP. She was not so excited by the impending birth of her little sister, but after Pinkie Pie was born, PP totally embraced her role as big sister. PP loves spending time with Pinkie Pie & Pinkie Pie ADORES her big sis.
–”Big Helper”–with the arrival of Pinkie Pie, I have been super busy at home. But, i do have an extra set of little hands. When I get the bath ready & forget a diaper, PP runs into the other room to get one. She also helps me bathe Pinkie Pie, runs to get a pacifier when I need one, or carries the bottle up the stairs when I run out of hands. Her help is invaluable & adorable.
–”Big Dreamer”–PP always talks about what she is going to do when she gets “bigger and bigger.” She says that when she gets bigger and bigger that she is going to be a Mommy like me. She also says that she is going to be a ballerina, cowboy (that’s a new one), and a teacher.
–”Big Thinker”–PP is super creative thinker. Nothing stops her! She finds ways to get what she wants either by climbing on something & using an object to get what she wants (which is not recommended, but I have to give her props for her problem solving abilities). PP is already saying that she is going to go to college when she is bigger too!
–”Big Girl”–PP is graduating to Pre-Kindergarten this month. She is so excited to be with her “big” girl friends & learn new things. She has been talking about Pre-K 1 for months now so I am so happy for her that she will now be in the next class (and they are telling me that she is testing at a Kindergarten level already too).
PP is a loving & free spirited little girl & I look forward to the many adventures that we have ahead of us. Happy Birthday, PP! We love you!
What “big” things has your little one done this year?
