I love that the Pack n Play has adapted for more uses when babies are newborns… so useful now that our homes have grown and having the extra options in the LR or master bedroom are wonderful. Perhaps another change might be to adapt it or create another style for the growing toddler. Maybe a lighter weight “tent” like option for those who don’t need the extra features and are looking for a easy travel companion for the 12 month+ age child – through 4 or 5 yrs.

Dare I mention competitors…. Gasp! :) Phil and Ted’s Traveller at only 5 pounds and fits into a small sack or the KidCo PeaPod Plus which folds down into a round compact circle.

I would love to see Graco come up with an option like that since we fly so much we don’t schlep the Pack n Play which adds for an extra piece of luggage and more weighty gear. Instead we bit the bullet and bought the way over priced (thankfully on sale with free shipping) P&T Traveller. Our P&T fits into a duffle bag with all our clothes and everything else and off we go. 1 bag complete with bed packed inside.

We love Graco though so would rather have bought something like that from you! :)

So funny Kristen you should mention that- Graco used to have a product like that. (it launched and then went away while I worked there) For some reason it just didn’t take off- I absolutely loved it and thought it was the coolest thing but didn’t really use it as much as I thought I would. I could see you, with your lifestyle, getting a lot of use out of it. Glad that you found one that meets your needs- and there’s no doubt our (well Graco’s now!) competitors makes some cool stuff too!

… and the changes keep on coming! I wish they had a “newborn napper” on OUR playard! Cubby was born in 2008 (so not that long ago!) :) Things keep getting better and better. :)

Graco please help! I’ve purchased 3 graco carseats and 2 Graco playards, but I need a bassinet insert for one of the playards I purchased in November of 2006 for a newborn that is due anyday now. I’ve searched every baby store in my area. It is similar to the Georgia Dotty, serial number #1751559, but the insert I need is the mesh one that attaches by the plastic handles. I’ve searched this entire site and was unsuccessful!

Hi. I´m expeting twins, a boy and a girl. I recently bought the Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Station and the Pack n Play Classic Playard. The thing is that I did not realize that there was a Pack n Play Twin Bassinet. So now I am wondering if I can buy an extra bassinet and put it in the Newborn Napper Station, at least for the three first months so they sleep together. I would like to know if that Station is compatible with an extra bassinet.
    Thank you very much.
    Catherine.

I’ve got a question. I see some of these have “bumper pads” which I would rather not have. I can’t tell if the Silhouette model has bumper pads or not. Does it?
