Graco GOGO #3: Graco My Ride 65 Convertible Car Seat Giveaway and Donation

Its day 3 of Graco’s Get One Give One program this holiday season! We love to give back and we know you do too – so here’s a simple way to do something good for someone else AND get something free for yourself:

Comment at the bottom of this post to tell us about a person or organization that you think is deserving of the product we’re featuring today and why. We’ll select one of your comments at random and both you and your nominee could win that day’s prize! Here’s some more information on Graco Get One Give One and how to participate.

Now, for today’s prize!

The Graco My Ride 65 Convertible Car Seat is perfect for parents looking for a car seat that is both rear-facing and forward-facing.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends your child ride rear-facing as long as possible (up to two years old) — and My Ride 65 stays rear-facing up to 40 lbs – longer than most other car seats in the US. Then, it secures your forward-facing child in a 5-point harness until he is 65 lbs. (The American Academy of Pediatrics also recommends your child stay harnessed as long as possible.)

Other features like EPS, energy absorbing foam, side-impact testing*, removable infant insert and toddler headrest help keep your child snug and secure on all of his journeys.

Today’s Graco GOGO giveaway features the My Ride 65 Convertible Car Seat in MAVO. This brand NEW fashion will be coming soon exclusively at Walmart.

We can’t wait to hear your stories. Come back tomorrow for another chance to win and give!

*Side-impact tested for occupant retention by the harness system.

** Entries are now closed – thanks to everyone who participated. The winner is Ashley M! Ashley, Graco will be in touch shortly to get you your prize!

I’d love to have this seat for my unborn son. He doesn’t have a seat. I would also like to donate a seat to a local battered women’s shelter. those women often end up there with nothing to their name and this would be awesome. My mom was one of those women and my brothers and i were among the children in the battered women’s shelter. The life saving services at those shelters will always hold a spot in my heart.

My son has been struggling the last year with the economy,he bought a house two years ago, then the construction business went flat…He is still playing catch up,he’s not there yet but he is trying…and now him and his girlfriend are expecting in the new year, exciting but costly, they need it all..so to Adam and Ashley i would give the car seat and then give the other car seat to a young women having her fourth and going thru separation and in need of a new seat as the one she has will be expiring

I’d love to donate this to my Mom. She is always very helpful helping other ppl when in need. I know she’s going to need a car seat for when her first grand-son comes into this world. It would mean a lot to me and her knowing the family’s new addition would have a safe car seat!

I would give one to a local crisis pregnancy center that assists single moms. They sure could use it!

I would give this to my daughter who will be adopting a new baby soon! No one is more worthy of this than she. It would make me feel good to know that someone can help her on her journey.

I LOVE this carseat! I would donate it to my sister in law who just found out she was pregnant. I hope to spread the word (and passion!) of car seat safety to her.

I would want my sister to have one. She has a newborn and I think I’ve convinced her about RF until at least 2 years old. If I got a seat for her, she would definitely use it to RF longer! Plus, I need a second seat for my son. He has a MyRide now and loves it!

I am currently a stay at home mom of a 15 month old and I babysit a 6 month old and a 28 month old. I have one good carseat which I have to share with all three kids. If I had this seat I would be able to use it for both of the other children if there was ever an emergency. I dont have the money to purchase a second or third seat. This one would be able to be shared. I would be sooooo appreciative. The second I would give to my mom and dad. They dont have a carseat that is safe for their car when they have my 15 month old son. I know how grateful they would be. They are the best parents and grandparents anyone could have. They take such great care of my son when he is there the only problem is if anything ever happend they couldnt transport him safely in the car. Thank you so much for considering me.

I would donate this to my sister. Her third child is ready to move out of his carrier carseat and this would be a great help for them! Thank you for such a great promotion!

I run an in-home daycare and currently have 2 infant families fulltime. A 5 month old and a 2 month old. One familiy is a Military family and the other is a hard working young couple, both still struggle financially so I would donate both seats to them.
This is a great giveaway, even if I’m not choosen. Thank you Graco!

I am due in less than 2 months & being my first, we are very excited, though my husband was laid off this year shortly after we found out I was expecting. I am still in school trying to graduate next semester from college so I can get a full time job to help pay the bills that we are behind on. I will be juggling school full time from January-May while my baby is born in February. I know it will be hard, but I know I have to do this. If not for me & my husband, then for my baby girl. As far as the second one, one of my dad’s employees has a daughter who was raped & became pregnant. It has been very tough for her & her family, but she is completly against abortion and though thought about adoption once she is born, she has changed her mind into keeping the baby. She knows it won’t be easy, but with everyone who is helping, we all have faith in her. So I know between her & I, we both could use a swing to help us with our newborns.
