I would love to win this one. We are currently due with our 4th baby and after the first 2 we gave everything away to our Airman’s Attic (a free store for needy USAF families) and this would be such a blessing. The second one I would give to the Spanish nursery at our Church they are really growing and could use this for the babies in nursery.

I’d give it to my sister who is due in March with a little boy that was totally unexpected. Her daughter is 3 and the planned on waiting a little longer till they were more financially stable to have another one, but the little one had other plans and came to be and then her husband lost his job right afterwards. It has been a hard time for her and I would love to help her out by giving her one.

I would like to win these swings for my friend, Courtney Crouse. She has been fighting a long, hard battle this pregnancy, which she and her baby girls are winning! She was diagnosed with TTTS at 18 weeks, which resulted in her needing emergency surgery to attempt save her babies. Thus far, the surgery seems to have been successful, but both she and her little girls have a long road ahead of them, which will undoubtedly be both emotionally and financially stressful on their whole family, so she definitley could use all of the help that she can get!

My sister is the mother of three beautiful children and she is due for another in may. She has the tiniest house! Only 750 sq.ft. She could really use this space saver! I just had my baby in november and would love having one too!

I would give it to Chantilly Catholic Church, they have a program to help pregnant women in need.

A friend is unexpectedly expecting. She’s in college, so any assistance is greatly appreciated. The essentials are expensive enough, let along being able to purchase a swing. My graco swing is the only thing my newborn son would sleep in – it was an absolute lifesaver and I mean that with all my heart. I’d love for my friend to have the same for her daughter. The second swing would go to grandma’s house. She is an amazing woman and the absolute best mother in law you could ever ask for.

I would give one to the girl at my church who is due with a little girl four days after I am. T his is a first for both of us.

  16. Renae December 17, 2010 at 2:46 pm #

I would give it to a program called Angel Reach (non profit) it helps relatives (kin ship), foster and adopted families who have custody of the children in CPS homes. It help get them able to care for the children by giving them the materials they need to keep these kids safe. Since I foster babies I would like it to. Thanks

  17. Catherine Cooper December 17, 2010 at 2:47 pm #

I am due at the end of April and could really use this, since it would save space.

  18. Katlyn December 17, 2010 at 2:50 pm #

I would absolutely give one to our church! We are expecting so many precious babys and have so many people who have just recently had babies. It would be a nice addition to our church’s nursery which is very small and does not have much to it except for a few toys due to financial reasons!

  19. Oriana December 17, 2010 at 2:50 pm #

I would give it to Chantilly Catholic Church. They have a program to help pregnant women in need. Thanks

I’m expecting my third child in Feb. With 7 years separating the baby & my older two children, I’m starting from scratch with baby gear. I would give the other one to my church to distribute to a family in need. I’d specifically like it to go to a local refugee family. We live in an urban neighborhood with a large refugee community. I’ve interacted with many African refugees who have very little. Last year I was part of a group that “adopted” a local family with four kids and baby on the way. They’ve since moved but there are many other families in need including ones from local after-school refugee tutoring program that I participate in.

Would love the swing for a family in my home town (small town in Kansas) they don’t have the resources to by what their little one needs. Would love to give back to the place that made me who I am today.

  23. jill December 17, 2010 at 2:54 pm #

I would love this because the swing I got for my baby he does not like and we can’t afford to buy another one. Then I would give the other one to a mother in need like I am.

  24. Jill December 17, 2010 at 2:57 pm #

I would like to give one to my sister who is expecting her 3rd child. Shes not working so there isnt alot of money coming in. Her and her fiance could really use all the help they can get. The other swing I would give to grandma to keep with all her grandbabies.. thanks Graco

  25. Britney Z December 17, 2010 at 2:57 pm #

I want to nominate a friend, Courtney Crouse. She is an amazing mother who has been through so much. She has two young children and now is pregnant with TWINS! Not only has she had to go through the stresses of pregnancy with twins and having to get all the stuff she needs while taking care of her daughter and son, she has also had to go through the stress of having twin to twin transfusion with this pregnancy. She was able to have a surgery to help, but it was very dangerous to the babies. They both survived and now she is 30 weeks pregnant, farther along than the doctors expected! She has been so strong through everything that has happened, and I think she deserves this to help her out since she has DOUBLE to buy for, on top of all the expenses she will have from the little girls who are coming any time now.

I would love to be able to give one of these to my friend who is due in a few months. I would also love one!

I am due in less than 2 months & being my first, we are very excited, though my husband was laid off this year shortly after we found out I was expecting. I am still in school trying to graduate next semester from college so I can get a full time job to help pay the bills that we are behind on. I will be juggling school full time from January-May while my baby is born in February. I know it will be hard, but I know I have to do this. If not for me & my husband, then for my baby girl. As far as the second one, one of my dad’s employees has a daughter who was raped & became pregnant. It has been very tough for her & her family, but she is completly against abortion and though thought about adoption once she is born, she has changed her mind into keeping the baby. She knows it won’t be easy, but with everyone who is helping, we all have faith in her. So I know between her & I, we both could use a swing to help us with our newborns.

  30. Tiffanie December 17, 2010 at 3:13 pm #

my cousin who is a single mom to a 1 year old and one on the way and raising her kids on her own.

  31. Lee December 17, 2010 at 3:18 pm #

I would love to give this to a needy mom on my parent’s forum. There are always Mommas in need and usually swings are an extravagance for new moms on a budget.

  32. Ellen December 17, 2010 at 3:19 pm #

I would give a swing to our local town welfare office to give to a new mother in need. Living in a small town, there isn’t much available to those in need. A good swing is important to keep any mother sane, and to give it to a mother who would not be able to afford one on her own should definitely lessen the stress.

  33. Patti December 17, 2010 at 3:26 pm #

My friend is due any day now and I’m due the beginning of February. I haven’t had my baby shower yet, and still thinking twice about having one. This during would be prefect for a new baby :)

  34. Samantha Rucker December 17, 2010 at 3:27 pm #

I would give the extra one to a friend from church who is due 6 weeks before me. I know we would both love them very much.

  35. Danielle S. December 17, 2010 at 3:32 pm #

I would give one to the Children’s Crisis Center in Hattiesburg, MS. Read more about them here and vote: http://www.refresheverything.com/healchildrenincrisis.
