    Hi to Gro counity,
Today is my due day for delivery, in fact it was on last fridya, but probably will be this morning according to my physician. If I will keep one for me and another one to my brother’s wife. Thanks and have a good holiday!

  2. Natalia H December 20, 2010 at 5:34 pm #

I would nominate my friend Julia O. When you have a child, you are on a budget, as there is always something a baby needs and outgrows. Her baby girl is going to outgrow her infant car seat very soon here and the new seat would be so nice!

  3. angela December 20, 2010 at 5:37 pm #

I would nominate my friend who has 3 kids in car seats she has 1 in an infant seat that is used. A 2 year old and a 4 year old. I also have twin 4 month olds and a disabled son. This family could use this.

  4. Karen December 20, 2010 at 5:38 pm #

I would like to nominate myself and my husband, As silly as it may sound. So far our pregnancy has been very normal. I am now 3 weeks away from our due date and still working full time. My husband also works full time. I do plan to continue working after baby in about 4 months or so. Our situation is a little different from most parents. I have a rare skin condition that we had to get specific genetic testing done during our 12 week. This condition can sometimes be very serious, and can cause a lot of problems later on in life. My husband is type 1 diabetic. We wanted to know for sure that baby does not have an issues in life. As hard as this decision was to make, we decided to continue on with the testing. Fortunately, baby has come out a ok. no problems.

Well on the other hand, there are some other issues that have presented themselves. My father has had esophageal cancer for the past 6 years. Just recently in the past 2 months since november 1, he has had to have 2 surgeries both on his back to remove cancerous tumors that have spread to his spine. He has been in and out of the hospital, and we have been supporting him, helping him out both physically, mentally, and financially, as my parents are being hit with a lot of medical expenses.

He is now currently in home hospice still recovering. It was a hard decision to make to bring him home, and place him in hospice. We thing its been the best thing. He is not able to get up and walk around or sit up in a chair yet, but his recover from his surgeries are going well.

My sister and myself have been supporting him now and hes doing better. I have been visiting my parents every day almost for the past 2 weeks making sure that hes being well taken care of by my mother and the nurses.

November and december were supposed to be quiet months, but I suppose not. I hope everyone that reads our story, will take a little moment for him and say a little prayer for him for his recovery. I think hes holding out to meet his little granddaughter and then will move on.

come on santa, we need some great miracles!

    Thanks for reading.

  5. Melinda Sharer December 20, 2010 at 5:38 pm #

I would give them to my mother in law. She has three grandchildren under 3. So they all need different seats. Plus this wold be awesome to win because my 6 month old is out growning her infant seat and I don’t have the money right now to get her a new seat.

  6. Jennifer December 20, 2010 at 5:38 pm #

I would have to nominate my cousin! She is a stay at home mom, due in February. She could really use this!

  7. DaSha December 20, 2010 at 5:41 pm #

I would nominate a friend of mine who is a single mom. She has twins and will be in need of forward facing carseats soon.

  8. Melissa December 20, 2010 at 5:50 pm #

I would like to nominate a family with 7 kids, 4 of which are still in carseats (the youngest is 8 months). All of their carseats are handmedowns & they cannot afford new ones. The mom is a stay at home mom, and she also homeschools all of their children. The dad works very hard to provide for them, and while they don’t lack for food & shelter, they never have new items (clothing, toys, etc). They are a beautiful family, the couple are highschool sweethearts who got married very young & started their family immediately. The love in the family more than makes up for the lack of material things, but I’d still like to see them blessed with new & safe carseats for their little ones. It would be a huge reflief for this loving & hardworking family.

  9. Vanessa December 20, 2010 at 6:07 pm #

I’d love to gift this to a local shelter and they could choose a family that they know of in need. I think most people I know have carseats and are able to buy them no problem. I’d love to gift someone who didn’t have the money to purchase carseats a carseat for each child in their family. Thus, I would check with a local shelter on it.

  10. Emily December 20, 2010 at 6:07 pm #

I nominate a family that has been through so much this last 2 years and they have 3 children still in car seats… they are expecting another baby in January and could really use the help! They are constantly facing lay offs, etc. and the mother has had disability problems stemming from an assault during her last pregnancy and has been unable to return to work as a teacher… they work so hard… this would be such a great gift for them!

  11. Nena H December 20, 2010 at 6:15 pm #

I would split them up for I have several friends in need right now. My friend Ali could use the bigger two and my friend Kelsey could benefit from the small two. They are both single moms that I work with. It would help them out a ton!

  12. Krystal December 20, 2010 at 6:18 pm #

I would love to give these to my mom. She recently gained custody of my three nieces who are one, two, and three. They are in desperate need of good fitting car seats as the one year old has a been in a booster seat, which is not safe at all.

  13. Christine C December 20, 2010 at 6:19 pm #

The family in the local paper

says they need a bigger seat for their 3 year old. They likely could use some boosters for their older kids as well.

  14. Katie December 20, 2010 at 6:36 pm #

I would nominate my sister Becky. She is currently a mother of one little boy who is about 20 months old and is due any day with a little girl. She is a busy mom who runs a couponing blog to try to help save others money. She also donates alot of the free items that she gets to the local food pantry. So to help her out it would be nice for her to get something free that would help her children stay safe.

  15. Traci R. December 20, 2010 at 6:39 pm #

I am due in a month and could really use a seat for our extra car. I would love to give the other to a family at church in need.

  16. Kimberly December 20, 2010 at 6:43 pm #

I will nominate my sister. She is trying to have a baby now and could really use these carseats and so could I. We ♥ Graco!!!

  17. Lauren Farrah December 20, 2010 at 6:58 pm #

I would like to nominate my 4 year old niece- she has exceded the 40 pound limit on most harnessed seats, and still is not quite mature enough to maintain the proper position for a booster. Plus, as she lives with my parents (her grandparents) they rarely notice when she’s out of position, and the 5pt harness is easier for them to buckle her in the correct way every time. The second seat would be donated to Safe Kids Oklahoma.

  18. Heather December 20, 2010 at 6:59 pm #

I have to nominate my cousin. She is a stay at home mom and after finding out she is pregnant with her 3rd child her husband’s income was cut in half. They really need these seats. They are in great need right now and I would love to be fortunate enough to win these to help her out. She is an awesome mom with great kids. They deserve this. I also have a 2 year old and plan another next year so I could use them as well.

  19. joell December 20, 2010 at 7:00 pm #

I would like to nominate my sister jennette. She has a two year old and a seven month old. My two year old nephew needs a new carseat. and my seven month old nephew may need a new carseat as well. She is a stay at home mom and her husband works hard to provide for his family. She loves graco products.

  20. Grandma Lucy December 20, 2010 at 7:15 pm #

I would like to nominate my granddaughter, Nicole. She is due to have a baby the end of January. However the Drs have said that they will likely have to take heer baby girl by the end of the year. Nicole may end up having her baby on her 18th birthday with is 12/28. What an awesome gift for her. A new carseat system would just put frosting on the cake. I have helped as much as I am able. But, Nicole is struggling. She is a high school senior and is getting straight As. Her boyfriend is in Job corps and won’t finish till around the time nicole graduates HS. He is here on his Christmas break right now. But returns on 1/8. He is hoping to be here when their baby comes, but wants baby Myra to stay in her momma as long as it is safe in there. Her placenta is failing. So we are praying for a safe and healthy outcome.

  21. Heather December 20, 2010 at 7:30 pm #

There is a single mother with 6 children (aged 9 months to 11 years) that just moved to my community. She is from Mexico. Her husband died and her parents in law took all her belongings and sold them and kept the money. Her and her children were left with nothing. Her parents couldn’t support them either, so they sent them here. She is living with a sister. They have nothing except a few things which have been given to them. We are planning to help this family out for Christmas, and it would be wonderful to be able to provide them with carseats.

  22. Suzanne B. December 20, 2010 at 7:40 pm #

There are so many people out there that could use these car seats! I know many families that can’t afford such a safe car seat as Graco has for their children. I would be honored to hand over a safe car seat to one of these families! I am a mom as well to a 2 year old that I still keep rear-facing so I would benefit from these as well! We are planning to have another so the infant seat would be perfect…maybe a little push even to get pregnant! Thanks Graco…

  23. Kristyn Moses December 20, 2010 at 7:42 pm #

I would give this to my cousin, she is pregnant and her and her husband are a young couple, struggling to make it themselves. They would be so very happy to receive these!

  24. Kailee December 20, 2010 at 7:42 pm #

I would love one of these carseats for my 15 month old! I also have another friend who is literally having another baby as we speak, and I would give it to her. It’s been five years since she last gave birth, and I think she needs a new one!!!

I’d like too nominate my friend Lydia is just been ordained as our local church of england minister. She’s such a lovely girl who is always doing good for other people. She’s just had a baby boy herself 8 weeks ago but yet she still always has time too spare too help families in need.I think she deserves this as a treat for herself for all the good community work she does but knowing her she’d keep the baby seat and find genuinely needy home for the rest.I never thought i’d be friends with a minister but i just see her as her,a caring, lovely and friendly girl, she’d love this x

  28. Autumn December 20, 2010 at 7:44 pm #

My sister really needs this seat

  29. Janis @ Sneak Peek At Me December 20, 2010 at 7:47 pm #

I want to nominate my niece, she is a teen mom with a newborn. She could really use a lot of help getting things together for her son. Her parents are having to move out of state to live with family in order to help her keep her baby. It is a struggle for them, any help would be wonderful.

  30. Kirsten December 20, 2010 at 7:49 pm #

I would like to see this go to a young couple I know. He has a devastating disease I can’t even begin to pronounce let alone spell. And she is on bed rest for the next 3 months to save her baby. During this time they are also raising the most adorable boy who will be 2 this coming summer. I know they could use this and I would love to see them have the two seats: one for little TJ and one for the baby to come. Thanks for doing this. It is kind and generous of you.

  31. Jennifer P. December 20, 2010 at 7:50 pm #

I would donate to a family I know w/ 4 kids. Her oldest is 7 and could use a new booster. The almost 6yo is not in the easiest to use harnessed seat so could use a new one. The 4yo is about out of her harnessed seat and is not ready for a booster and the baby is 4 mos old and will outgrow out of her infant seat soon!

  32. Christina December 20, 2010 at 7:50 pm #

I would nominate my friend who is on a very tight budget. She is due in April and is very excited to be having her first baby. She had a miscarriage in the past. I would use the other one when i am babysitting her daughter. She is a very sweet friend and needs a little help.

  33. Dena Furgason December 20, 2010 at 7:51 pm #

I have to nominate one of my daycare clients. Her name is Adrienne F. Sunday Dec 12,2010 she gave birth to her first baby girl but not her 1st child. Adrienne has 3 beautiful angels all under 3. Child #1 Owen is a beautiful angel he is one of God’s special gifts, he has partail trisomy 10Q with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Owen has had 3 open heart surgeries the last one just being 7 weeks ago. Owen goes through multiple therapies a week. Owen also has a lot of vomiting when he takes his feedings through his feeding tube. Owen will be 3 in April and is nonverbal and nonwalking. Owen is the sweetest little guy and I love him so much. Middle baby is Gavin. This is a doll baby he will be 2 in April. He walks, talks and runs up a storm. He is smart as can be and as sweet as can be. He is the best little guy in the world. He is signing at this young age to help communicate with Owen. He signs “more please” and speaks it and it is just too cute! This little guy loves to eat. Now yesterday little princess was born. She is a big 9lb 6 oz baby. Currently she is in the NICU! Adrienne is a great mom! She works full time, she makes sure Owen gets to every appointment and therapy session and she is just so loving and attentive to her children. Addrienne is a great mom and a great friend.

  34. Jaclyn Edwards December 20, 2010 at 7:57 pm #

I would nominate my sister Amy. She has three kids ages 4, 2, and 1, and they could really use new seats!

  35. Kristyn Moses December 20, 2010 at 7:57 pm #

    i tweeted!

  36. Sarah F. December 20, 2010 at 8:04 pm #

I would nominate a friend with 2 kids and number 3 on the way. They are on a tight budget, and I know this would be a true blessing for them to know that their kids were in safe and secure new carseats!

  37. Jane Stefan December 20, 2010 at 8:15 pm #

I would nominate my sister who just had her third. She is the bread winner of the family as a waitress and bartender in a pretty dismally run restaraunt in Tahoe. My parents pay for most including his carseat and other gear. There middle child is 4 and still in a booster but it is old and a hand me down. This series of carseats would help a family in need.

  38. Jill December 20, 2010 at 8:16 pm #

WOW! How kind! I would donate to my brother. He has 3 kids and because they drive in 2 vehicles it can be very expensive to constantly upgrade! Plus I would know my precious nieces were always safe with Graco seats :)

  39. Carrie December 20, 2010 at 8:22 pm #

I would nominate my best friend. Her husband recently left her and her two young children, ages 6 and 2. To complicate matters, a mass was recently discovered in her breast. Initial biopsy results indicate it is benign, but she is loosing health insurance due to her divorce. She was a stay-at-home Mom for many years and now has to rebuild her life as a working, single Mom. She is a fabulous car seat technician and has done much for many people, she didn’t see this day coming, where she would be on the other side of the fence, the Mom in need of assistance. She’s working so very hard to put her life back together again, and two new seats would be a wonderful blessing at this most difficult time in her life.

  40. COURTNEY December 20, 2010 at 8:26 pm #

I would nominate my sister because she’s deserves to have some money to spend on herself than on baby stuff.. She’s a sweetheart and a great aunt!!

  41. Karlee B. December 20, 2010 at 8:26 pm #

I want to nominate a friend of mine. She is an amazing woman. She has married the love of her life…and he came with 6 kids. Since they got married, she has blessed him with 2 more kids (ages 3 & 1)and now she is expecting her third. As a child passenger safety technician, I have helped them to make sure all of their kids are traveling safely and they do what they need to inorder to keep them protected. With another one on the way, they will be needing another car seat and will be advacing kids to next stages and some of their car seats are well used through the many kids so they could use some new ones. When this baby is born they will have 4 in car seat and 2 in boosters.

  42. Rick T. December 20, 2010 at 9:11 pm #

my family is in serious need of new seats. i am the sole breadwinner for our family and we are due with our 3rd in june. our 2nd son (1 year) is still in his (used) infant seat due to the fact that we cannot afford a new carseat..honestly, we cannot even afford our car insurance half the woudl rally help to have unused carseats and boosters for our older boys and a infant seat for our newest due in june. money is super tight these days and it woudl be a big help and reliefe to know my children are finally safe in the car with my wife and i.

  43. tracyanne December 20, 2010 at 9:16 pm #

I would love to give this to my best friends sister. She is due with her first baby after a few complications. She is living at home with her parents due to her husband’s disability, her dad’s heart condition and her mom is a cancer survivor. She is currently working an hour away from home and will have to continue to do so shortly after the baby is born. We are all trying to pitch in with our hand-me-downs but don’t have near everything she will need so this would be a great blessing!

  44. Tomi D December 20, 2010 at 9:33 pm #

I would like to nominate my best friend. She recently got married and between her and her husband they have four kids ages 6, 5, 3 and 2 and another on the way. All of her children are in high back boosters without a harness. Her infant carrier from her first child will be expired when the newest one is born. Due to our economy the best job that either of them can find is part time retail. They struggle to pay all of their bills every month and moved the kids into high back boosters because they could not afford seats with higher weight limits.

  45. krista December 20, 2010 at 9:33 pm #

I would love to gift this to an old friend of mine she has 4 kids 1 would need safeseat other children would need myride 65 ..She just had her daughter 2 months ago ..They are experiencing major hardship..She was blessed friday with the school calling a secret santa brought toys for all the kids she was in tears …She is a single mother with the babies daddy totally out the pic…All her carseats are hand me downs and or close to experation ….This would once again Make her once again believe in Santa or atleast the spirit of him…Have a blessed day

  46. Tiffany Hood December 20, 2010 at 9:37 pm #

I def. would have to nominate my sister. She just had a baby a month ago and is borrowing someone else’s car seat. She is going in for brain and heart surgery next week so right now her finances are really tight. She had no choice but to borrow someones car seat as her pregnancy came as a huge suprise. She has a severe seisure disability and is on the Depot shot and told she’d never be able to have children. Her son is a true miracle and a total suprise. I would love to be able to give her her own car seat for her sweet little boy. It would be such a wonderful gift :)

  47. celin c December 20, 2010 at 9:48 pm #

I would give it to my sister she is having a hard time right now .Shes a young single mom

  48. krysten December 20, 2010 at 9:50 pm #

I have a few friends I can think of, who have their (too) young kids in seatbelts or boosters and would LOVE them to do the Nautilus (and also on a tight budget). We are planning on getting that for my 3.5 yr old as he is almost at the limit for his convertible seat. I try to share my car seat “savvy-ness” with everyone about extended RF and keeping them in harnesses later! Probably, I annoy them all but better to keep one kid safe!

  49. Nicole Palmer December 20, 2010 at 9:59 pm #

I nominate my sweet Brother-in-law and his darling wife. They have two little boys (18 months and 4 months) who are both using used car-seats that we don’t have any idea on the history of. I would love to see my two nephews with their own brand-new car-seats.

  50. Kate December 20, 2010 at 10:18 pm #

I would donate all of them to the non-profit center that I work for doing car seat installations…
