I would give this one to the SIDS foundation. I know many mothers have fears with the many unknowns of sids and a monitor is one way to ease those fears.

I would like to nominate my sister to win this, she is pregnant with identical twins and is stressing about how much it is going to cost her so this would be one less expense for her and one less thing she has to worry where the money would come from for it. I am a very excited auntie to be and am looking forward to helping in any way I can do :) x

I would give one to a mother leaving the NICU with a preemie. I know because i had such a fear leaving the NICU – your so use to having all the bells and whistles at the hospital and when you get home there is nothing, the first few weeks i dont think i even slept. My twins are 3 and still sleep in my room. We are moving in a week and they will be moving into there own rooms – id love to have one of these.

Leaving the NICU until you get use to having your baby at home – is frightening – so i think every new mom should have one of these

I would love to give this as a gift to my friend who just had a baby boy last Thursday, unfortunately he was born with a cleft palate and is currently getting the best treatment possible at sick kids hospital. This would help her out when she comes home because she is very worried about his ability to breath on his own once he comes home.

  5. Autumn June 16, 2011 at 10:14 am #

My sister really needs this monitor she does not have a lot of money to buy one, and she is currently looking to move her baby out of her bedroom to his own room.

  6. Erin June 16, 2011 at 10:15 am #

Love this set! I’d love to give one to my friends David and Traci, who have a five-year-old daughter battling brain cancer. They are now caring for her at home, and I’d love to give them this so that they could have the peace of mind to step out on the deck together during Ava’s nap. I’d use the other set to monitor my four children, ages 7, 5, 2, and 4 months while camping. THANKS for a great giveaway!!

  7. Jeannine m June 16, 2011 at 10:22 am #

I would gift it to my sister in law who just had a baby

  8. Laura Miller June 16, 2011 at 10:22 am #

I would definitely donate one to the tornado victims…more if I could. Can you imagine having a baby on the way and waking up with no home???

  9. Emily June 16, 2011 at 10:28 am #

The local Miami Valley women’s shelter does great work and could really find someone who could use this!

  10. Lindsey Pfeil June 16, 2011 at 10:29 am #

I would give one to my friend who just had a baby. She doesn’t have a monitor and I know this would really help ease her mind about a lot of things.

  11. Tina Gardner June 16, 2011 at 10:33 am #

If chosen I would give this to my sister Margy. Like I said yesterday, she had a apt fire yesterday and some items for her baby on the way were ruined. Also, I have a 2yr old and 9 mo old and we could def use one as well. Thanks.

  12. Pat June 16, 2011 at 10:35 am #

I would give one to a set of first time parents that have a 6 day old little girl. I would let the first time parents choose the charity in honor of their baby girl, as there are so many worthy charities out there right now!

  13. samantha hibbs June 16, 2011 at 10:38 am #

  14. Jolene Black June 16, 2011 at 10:45 am #

I would keep one for myself as I’m due in September and the cost of having a baby has started to get overwhelming especially with the cost of the bigger items.

I would give one to Kelowna General hospital to give to a family in need.

  15. Trisha Kvien June 16, 2011 at 10:58 am #

  16. Sarah Cooper June 16, 2011 at 11:08 am #

  17. Loren Peabody June 16, 2011 at 11:15 am #

i would keep on, as we are moving from a flat to a house, and that way i cold enjoy the garden while my 3 and 1 year old are sleeping without worrying, and woud give one to my friend, who is due her 4th baby anyday now, but her partner as recently lost his job and none of her family bother with her. they are really struggling for money, and she is such a lovely deserving lady xx

  18. Hannah Poole June 16, 2011 at 11:21 am #

I would give one to Salem Pregnancy which is a local organization for single mothers to be. I’m sure they could def. use a helping hand, and this would be one way I could help someone. We could also use one with a 6 week old in the house, and I have to do laundry in laundry room which is very hard without a far reaching monitor. Thanks!

  19. Kaylee A. June 16, 2011 at 11:29 am #

I would love to gove this to the pregnacy center a few tows over. They offer items to mother’s who can’t afford to much. They give clothing, and large baby equipment to them cheap or free. I would love to help them out!

  20. kim wilschek June 16, 2011 at 11:39 am #

I would love to give one to health connect one so they can use it for one of the families they work one. HCO supports underserved communities throughout the country by training community workers to act as doulas or breastfeeding peer counselors so they can work within their community to support healthy parenting. Visit them at I am honored to be a board member of this organization and have witnessed the amazing work they do.

  35. Allison June 16, 2011 at 4:14 pm #

I would give one to friends of mine who lost their child last year, they have just found that they are expecting a new baby in November. I am due later this year also, so the moniters would be a true blessing.

  36. Joanie June 16, 2011 at 4:18 pm #

I would love to win one and give the other to a friend of mine who is expecting her first child!

  37. Ashley June 16, 2011 at 4:24 pm #

I would love to win these. After spending many weeks at a time in the Heart and Kidney unit with our son you quickly learn to appreciate technology. We would love to be able to donate these back to the hospital that has done so much for us to give to two amazing families whos littles ones finally get graduate from a hospital bed to a crib of their own. What better way to ease the stress of this transition for a parent then to be able to hear their every move. We know this stress all to well!

  38. Maria Ragland June 16, 2011 at 4:25 pm #

I would honestly keep one for myself- we are moving into a new place and it’s much larger than our 10 x 40 trailer. I’m going to be a nervous wreck not having my daughter mere feet away from me. The other I would give to UVA children’s hospital!

  39. erika collins June 16, 2011 at 4:43 pm #

I would donate a set to the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Elyria, Ohio, they do a great job of helping women that are struggling financially and emotionally through their pregnancy. Also, my husband and I were quite surprised to learn we were having our third baby three months ago, after having a 8 and 6 year old little girls we weren’t expecting this surprise! After being on bed rest for the past three months and my poor husband picking up all the slack and letting me sleep hours while entertaining our girls, he hasn’t complained once but tells me it is something me and the baby needs right now. I have an excellent husband and father for my children and we are truly blessed this Fathers Day! that decide

  40. April Baker June 16, 2011 at 4:46 pm #

I would donate it to my close friend who is due shortly after me because she is unable to afford something this fancy and she lost a child a few years ago and is so worried about leaving her baby alone just like I am aas wel….

  41. Heidi Stone June 16, 2011 at 4:50 pm #

  42. heather June 16, 2011 at 4:51 pm #

I would donate this to my wonderful mother. She takes care of my daughter every day without asking for a thing in return. She is amazing. I hope I am even half the mom she is for my sweet baby girl.

  43. Emily June 16, 2011 at 4:54 pm #

I would love to win this I would keep one for myself as i am almost 6 months pregnant and can use all the help we can get. After the Earthquake in Japan my husbands job cut back there hours which has made thing a little tight for us. I would choose for the other one to be donated to the American Red Cross to benefit the Tornado victums who have lost so much.

  44. Taylor June 16, 2011 at 5:41 pm #

I would give one to maggie’s place, a local womens shelter for expectant mothers here in phoenix, az.

  45. Brigitte June 16, 2011 at 6:47 pm #

My best friend lives in Oregon. We’ve been best friends since we were little. She moved away 3 years ago. She is having her first baby this October. And her boyfriend is in the Army and travels alot. I know she would love this, considering she is alone alot, and would like to monitor her newborn baby in her home!! I could never afford something so great for my best friend, but if I could win her something this great, I know she would love it!! And appreciate it!

  46. Jennifer June 16, 2011 at 7:51 pm #

I would like to nominate my sister-in-law for one of these monitors! She is having her second baby in November and has a 1 1/2 year old already!

  47. Mickey Coutts June 16, 2011 at 8:31 pm #

I would love to donate a set to a family at my church. They are about to have a second child after many years of trying. They donated all of their baby gear when they thought they’d never be able to have another baby and now have nothing. The husband lost his job last year and has been working odd jobs to try to keep them in their apartment. I know they’d be thrilled to have such a nice monitor for their new baby.

  48. HappyMomC June 16, 2011 at 9:55 pm #

American red cross would benefit from this!

  49. Michelle richardson June 17, 2011 at 7:55 am #

I can’t say I have a certain foundation to give this to bc really any Charity deserves everything for what they do. I’m just an average stay at home mom with an adorable 18 month old with a newborn on the way. Honestly I would like to just give this to my husband. We’ve had our daughter sleeping with us since she was 6 months old and he’s had a really hard time with transitioning her into her room. He just worries so much but with one on the way its a must! I just think this special monitor would help him feel better about her sleeping on her own and knowing she’s safe in her own room. I love my husband and just want him to know I understand where he’s coming from and just want to help. Thanks for listening!
