Grow With Me: DuoDiner™ 3-in-1 Highchair & a chance to win!

Update: Hi everyone, Thanks for playing! Comments are now closed. Stay tuned, we’ll announce our winner shortly!

Last month, we began the conversation with you about smart design – products that actually adapt with your growing child.  I told you about one of my favorite highchairs, the SimpleSwitch 2-in-1 – and we gave you a chance to win one.

Now I’m back this month to introduce you to the second highchair in our ‘Grow With Me’ series: the DuoDiner™ 3-in-1.  And, guess what!  That’s right, one lucky reader will win one of these as well.

For new parents out there, you’re going to be surprised at just how early you’ll start using a highchair.   (So if you don’t win this time around, don’t forget to put a highchair on your registry.)  DuoDiner’s™ 1st mode is an infant highchair with 3 levels of recline.  In this mode, the seat can be used as a comfortable place to give baby a bottle or explore rice cereal and other “first solids” – or even simply as a safe place to sit baby in the kitchen when you need to be hands-free.

Fast forward a few months:  your baby has changed?  So will the DuoDiner™.  In stage 2, you’ll probably use the upright seating position along with the adjustable footrest in order to accommodate baby’s growing legs.  Interjecting as a Mom for a second, this stage of “babyhood” is one of my favorites as the little ones become so very aware and want to be included in everything you do.  A feature perfectly matched to this quality is the 6-position height adjustment: meaning you can bring baby right up to the dinner table with the rest of the family!  Trust me, they’ll be thrilled with this graduation.

Stage 3 is perfectly timed to coincide with when the “newness” of having baby gear all over your house starts to lose its luster!  Not only will the seat become a detachable toddler booster that easily straps to your existing table chairs, the rest of the highchair body can then be easily stowed away… until the next little one needs it, at least :)

Combine these “Grow With  Me” features with easy cleanability and it’s easy to see why parents love the DuoDiner™ 3-in-1 Highchair.

To enter the DuoDiner™ 3-in-1 giveaway, leave a comment answering this question for us: if given a choice, would you rather have a highchair that has one “wipe-clean” seat pad OR a highchair with two machine-washable seat pads?  We look forward to reading your responses; we take your feedback seriously!

**This contest will be open until Friday, November 11th at 5:00 p.m. EST. Comments will be closed after this time. Winners will be announced here on the Graco blog ( Monday, November 14th. Void where prohibited. Available in the US only. For full rules, please email us at**

What a great giveaway! I would love the one with the wipe clean surface! My little one makes such a mess that easy clean up would be awesome!

  2. Bridget S November 8, 2011 at 2:55 pm #

Wipe Clean Surface! A busy mom has enough laundry to wash without having to put the highchair cover in the wash after every meal.

  3. Meghan Kinzie November 8, 2011 at 3:22 pm #

I would love a fabric that can be wiped clean. I have enough laundry to do with 2 little ones! To be able to wipe the seat clean and be on your way would be very convenient!

  4. Fatemeh November 8, 2011 at 8:30 pm #

I would have to go with the two machine-washable seat pads. I believe it’ll be more hygienic!

  7. Nadine Reinders November 9, 2011 at 4:08 am #

Awesome giveaway! If I had the choice, I rather had the washable pads!

  8. Rachael Haynes-Wood November 9, 2011 at 5:14 am #

I would prefer a wipe down one. It is hard enough as a full time working mom for me keep up with washing my baby’s clothes much less his high chair seat cover. It is so much easier to wipe it down. Besides he loves his sweet potatoes and carrots but any cloth it gets on stains permanently. I actually had to buy him a smock to avoid ruining his cloth bibs and clothes. So wipe down is my vote for sure!

i like the wipe clean because i hate doing extra laundry! but either one would be great, since we have no high chair right now

  10. Kristin November 11, 2011 at 5:56 pm #

Awesome giveaway! If I had to choose, I would love the wipe-clean surface. My son is such a messy eater…and I do enough laundry as it is. ;)

  11. Janice November 11, 2011 at 5:57 pm #

wipe clean surface. Much faster and less water usage/waste.

  12. Whitney November 11, 2011 at 5:58 pm #

Definitely one wipe clean seat pad, much more convenient when you use it at least 3 times a day. Thank you for the chance!

  13. Shannan Foley November 11, 2011 at 5:58 pm #

I would love to have an easier cleanup after meals! :-)

  14. Chelsea D. November 11, 2011 at 5:58 pm #

What an awesome giveaway! I would definitely prefer the wipe clean seat pad. It’s quick and easy!

  15. Christina November 11, 2011 at 6:00 pm #

I would rather have 2 machine washable seat pads.

  16. Ali November 11, 2011 at 6:03 pm #

    Machine washable please. : )

  17. jessica November 11, 2011 at 6:07 pm #

    Would love wipe down

  18. Melody November 11, 2011 at 6:15 pm #

Wipe down would be my preference. I’m afraid I would prolong cleaning the chair pads longer than I should! And usually wipe down material seems to be more durable.

  19. Mike November 11, 2011 at 6:22 pm #

I like the idea of two machine-washable seat pads.

  20. Greta November 11, 2011 at 6:29 pm #

Awesome giveaway! The wipe-clean surface is so easy!

  21. Codi November 11, 2011 at 6:33 pm #

I love the wipe down pads! Makes it so easy to keep it clean after each meal.
It would be nice if it was also machine washable as well though, in case there is just too big of a mess to wipe down.

  22. Marsha November 11, 2011 at 6:33 pm #

I would rather have two machine washable pads. The wipe clean vinyl types just get very hot and sweaty and baby sticks to it in the summer here! I know I hate sitting on vinyl in the summertime!

  23. Leonela November 11, 2011 at 6:39 pm #

I’ll prefer to have two machine washable seat pads. It more sanitary then just wiping downs because I know no crumbs or waste would be left behind.

  24. Tonia T. November 11, 2011 at 6:45 pm #

My little one will start her first foods soon and I remember the mess baby #1 made when eating. A wipe clean surface is best because although a washable sounds great what do you use while it’s in the wash? You would have to wash it everyday!

  25. Krystyn November 11, 2011 at 6:48 pm #

I’d rather have wipe clean. I can never get those washable ones dry enough!

  26. The Knapps November 11, 2011 at 6:48 pm #

I would love a wipe clean surface…I feel like it would be cleaned more often that way.

  27. Alexis Bertch November 11, 2011 at 6:50 pm #

I would like one with 2 seat pads. I can never get the nook and crannies clean with the wipeable surface. I like the idea of throwing it in the washer! Thanks for the giveaway!

  28. Sarah November 11, 2011 at 6:59 pm #

Definitely a wipe-lean! Too much laundry as it is!

  29. Casandra November 11, 2011 at 7:29 pm #

Wipe clean is definitely the way to go! This looks like a great high chair!

  30. Marcela Kapfer November 11, 2011 at 8:04 pm #

I love that it grows with the child. I’ve had to buy new boosters with my other two, that don’t last. This is a one stop shop! : )

  31. Melissa November 11, 2011 at 8:09 pm #

What a great high chair!! With Baby #3 on the way… Something like this would sure come in handy :)

  32. Kira K. November 11, 2011 at 8:41 pm #

I would definitely rather have two washable pads. And by washable, I mean something that will actually hold up to being washed multiple times a week!

  33. Carrie November 11, 2011 at 9:04 pm #

I would love a Graco Highchair!!!

  34. Kelli P. November 11, 2011 at 9:10 pm #

I would love the wipe clean.

  35. Ann @ Mundane Magic November 11, 2011 at 9:27 pm #

My first reaction was machine washable…but then I remembered how wonderful it was to be able to undo the seat, open it up, and then wash all of the smushy banana out of it. Banana turns black quickly and stains almost anything it sits upon. I am a big believer in letting my children feed themselves…and years later this has made the difference in what type of eaters they are. I let them explore in all the mess. I just wish I would have had this nice of highchair then! I would love to give this to my niece who is expecting soon.

  36. susan November 11, 2011 at 10:46 pm #

I would love this for my daughter and my son who’s turning 3 months old. We don’t have a high chair at all. I love the idea that it can change 3 ways. It grows with the child.

  37. Christy H November 11, 2011 at 11:40 pm #

Totally a wipe clean seat, it’s much more convenient.

  38. Michelle M November 12, 2011 at 2:26 am #

The wipe clean sounds easy and takes a load off the laundry.

  39. Elizabeth November 13, 2011 at 11:34 pm #

I would prefer a wipe clean seat, just makes it that much easier and I wouldnt want that mess going through my washing machine :)
