Introducing the New Graco Ready2Grow Stand and Ride Stroller!

Graco is excited to announce our newest double stroller, the Ready2Grow stand and ride stroller. Most people are probably more familiar with Graco’s tandem double strollers (DuoGlider, Quattro Tour Duo), which are the ones that the two kids sit back to back. What is so exciting about this double stroller is that it provides 12 riding options for your kids (yup, I said 12).

You can still snap in two Graco infant car seats into this double stroller but there are also so many other seating configurations to choose from. Your older child can sit on the bench seat or stand on the platform, while your little one can sit back and enjoy the front row seat. Another cool option is the “Face Time” stroller seat. You can make your little one laugh or show her the sights as you push the stroller. The best way to experience this stroller is to go instore and try it out with your kids, see more pictures online, or check out our video.

With all of these seating options, Graco did not forget out the convenience features that moms expect and love about Graco strollers. Like I mentioned before this stroller includes, the ability to use two Graco infant car seats in the stroller, a removable Face Time seat where you can spend some close up quality time with your baby, a reclining front seat that lies flat, a one-hand fold, and an extra-large storage basket that can be accessed by pulling up on the toddler bench seat–awesome, huh?

I wish I had this stroller when my girls were younger! I know PP would have loved the standing platform and Pinkie Pie (who is my eternal cuddler) would have loved the Face Time seat so she could be even closer to me. Our strollers keep getting better and better!

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. But from what I can see it’s not out til mid March which is unfortunately when I’m due. :(

  2. Kelly Voelker January 27, 2012 at 4:37 pm #

Hi Holly! You can actually find it in stores now, at Walmart, Target, Amazon.com and other retailers. Let me know if you have any other questions and thanks!

  3. Kelly Voelker January 27, 2012 at 4:38 pm #

Holly – You can also find it at Babies”R”Us!

  4. LD January 27, 2012 at 4:41 pm #

What is the weight limit for the ride-on toddler? I have a 48 pound 4 year old and I am expecting again in September… THX

  5. Kelly Voelker January 27, 2012 at 5:05 pm #

Hi LD – the weight limit is 50 lbs. Thanks for asking!

  6. Lori January 27, 2012 at 5:39 pm #

Does it weigh as much as the Quattro Duo? That thing was SO heavy, I got something else. This looks awesome thought. Me thinks a trip to BRU is in order :)

  7. Melissa Parlaman January 27, 2012 at 5:44 pm #

    Hi Lori,
The Ready2Grow stroller weighs 33 lbs, which is less than the Quattro Tour Duo. Let me know if you have any questions. Check it out at BRU!

I was wondering which carseats work with this?
Also I have a bigger toddler (in weight, but only 2) would this work for us?
    I am preggers (a girl) and have a 40lb 2 year old…thoughts?
    THANKS

I love all the riding options!

  10. Melissa Parlaman January 30, 2012 at 1:36 pm #

    Hi Kat,
Any Graco SnugRide (SnugRide, SnugRide 30, SnugRide 35) is compatible with the stroller-and snaps into either the front or back seat. Your 2 year old should fit fine in the front seat, which holds a child to 50 lbs.

    Hi Meghan,
Glad you like the riding options–the versatility is awesome!

  11. Emily January 31, 2012 at 3:21 pm #

can you used this for three kids. Infant in car seat, toddler in stroller seat and older toddler standing?

  12. Melissa Parlaman January 31, 2012 at 5:06 pm #

    Hi Emily,
The Ready2Grow stroller is only for 2 kids. but, you have 12 riding options for those two kids.

I LOVE this stroller! I have a three month old who was in his snug ride and a two year old this was the perfect stroller, we travel a lot.i took them both to NYC and then to Vegas the stroller was the best it made my life so easy, great space in the basket, easy to open and close, I could push with one hand, it made it easy to move around the airport and to all the places we went I never felt like it was too big which is what I have always been afraid if with a double stroller! So happy I bought this!

  14. Beth February 1, 2012 at 9:37 pm #

Does the face time seat have a minimum weight or age?

  15. Kim H February 2, 2012 at 2:18 am #

Trying to find out if the Chicco Keyfit 30 can be used with this stroller? Love the idea of this stroller but would rather not buy another infant seat. Thank you!!

  16. Melissa Parlaman February 2, 2012 at 1:08 pm #

    HI Kim,
All Graco strollers are engineered to fit only Graco infant car seats, so no, your Chicco infant car seat cannot be used with this stroller.
    Melissa

  17. Melissa Parlaman February 2, 2012 at 1:14 pm #

    Hi Beth,
The Face Time seat has a maximum weight of 40 lbs (no minimum weight requirements).

was wondering if this will fit into a small size car? I have been searching for a double stroller due to I have a 1 yr old n pregnant for my second due in May and of course I need one to go places with me with two little ones. However i need to find one that will fit into a grand am car.

  19. Melissa Parlaman February 6, 2012 at 7:46 pm #

    Hi Denise,
My best advice is to visit your local Babies R Us store and ask them if you can take the floor model out to your car to ensure that it fits in your trunk.
    Melissa

  20. Alex February 10, 2012 at 10:24 pm #

Right now it looks like there are 4 patterns available. Will Graco be rolling out more patterns in the future?

Also, to the previous posters, I went to Babies R Us and took the floor model out to see if it fit in my car. It fits in a toyota matrix if you remove the front tray and the arch (it’s easy they just pop right out)

  21. Monica February 13, 2012 at 2:24 am #

I love this stroller! I researched and researched and was happy to find this stroller. I purchased the Odessy perfect for my daughter 6 months and son 2 years. I finally can travel with both my kids and not have to rely on shopping carts. I can push this one handed with my 15 pound daughter in her carseat and my son up front. My only change I would recommend that the front seat be made with a taller back. My two year old doesn’t usually sleep in the stroller but he really can’t sit back an relax because he is too tall at 37 inches. The foot rest is a little short as well. I look forward to changing him to the bench. Thanks graco for making my life easier.

    Hi Alex,
At this time, those are the fashions available. But, we hope to have more in the future. Stay tuned!
    Hi Monica,
Thank you for your comment–glad you are happy with your Ready2Grow stroller. As for your great feedback, I will pass it on to our marketing & engineering team.
    Thanks again!

  23. Ali February 13, 2012 at 5:19 pm #

    Hi
I have a 3 month old and 3 yr old. I need to purchase double stroller.
    Questions: harness type seatbelts?
Does front seat recline like for a nap?
My daughter is tall, how high is backing to front seat?
I have Chicco car seat key 30 can I secure baby in back seat without a car seat?
    Thank you!!!
What colors are available for the odyssey?
    I have 2 girls

  24. Melissa Parlaman February 14, 2012 at 1:36 pm #

    Hi Ali,
The harnesses are the strollers are convertible 3 or 5 pt harnesses which is what all of our Graco strollers have, the front seat does recline, the back height of the front seat is 16.5″, and yes you can place your baby in the Face Time rear seat without the car seat (however, you cannot attach your Chicco car seat to this stroller..you can only attach Graco infant car seats to this stroller).
As for fashions, there are several to choose from: Forecaster, Metropolis, Odyssey, Viceroy, Oasis & Flare. You can go to gracobaby.com to see all of your fashion options & where to buy those fashions on our website.
    Hope this helps you!
    Melissa

  25. Alex February 14, 2012 at 10:36 pm #

    Hi Melissa,

You mentioned there were 6 fashions available. I have seen the Forecaster, Metropolis and Oasis on Amazon. Babies R us has the Odyssey pattern. Where can I find the Viceroy and Flare pattern? The page on gracobaby only lists 3 patterns. Thanks.

  26. Melissa Parlaman February 15, 2012 at 6:59 pm #

    Hi Alex,
Viceroy is a Target fashion and the Ready2Grow stroller is available now in store. The Flare fashion will be available at select specialty stores (so may be harder to find).

Just got this striller today and I’m super excited about it!! The Only thing is I just cannot figure out how to decline the facetime seat!! And the Manuel doesnt tell you How to decline it either … Help!!!!!

  28. Melissa Parlaman February 16, 2012 at 9:46 pm #

    Hi Michelle,
I am so glad that you love the Ready2Grow stroller! We have had such positive consumer feedback on this stroller. To answer your question about the recline of the Face Time seat, it actually does not recline (which is why you couldn’t find it in the instruction manual). Unfortunately, the incorrect information is on some of the retailer websites so we are trying to fix that now. I apologize for any confusion.

  29. Lena February 17, 2012 at 9:26 pm #

FYI moms – you need to definitely go check this stroller out at the stores! I bought it a few weeks ago at Babies R Us and I am super excited, can’t wait to use it when my baby boy arrives in June! I have a 3 year old daughter that would love it too. Right now, we have a Graco Mosaic Lightweight stroller and we used that one for trips everywhere. So, I am so glad I “bumped” into this Graco at the store. I was almost THIS CLOSE in getting another one. So, this stroller is light compared to the other heavier doubles, it seems to push around really well, and it has 12 options! We can’t go wrong with that. I have the Odyssey double and carseat. Totally worth it! =)

  30. Melissa Parlaman February 17, 2012 at 9:31 pm #

    Hi Lena,
So glad that you love the stroller!

I just have to say that I love this double stroller. I have a 7 week old and a 2 year old and it has been a life saver. It even fits my car seat that was a different brand. I would rather have the matching car seat, but couldn’t afford both. Oh well still love my stroller.

  32. pilar February 20, 2012 at 3:13 am #

Hi, I need to now how much does the stroller it weight?
    Thanks!

Hi, I need to now how much does the stroller weight?
    Thanks!

  34. Wendi February 20, 2012 at 3:39 am #

    Do both seats recline?

  35. Melissa Parlaman February 20, 2012 at 1:18 pm #

    Hi Wendi,
The front seat reclines but the FaceTime seat in the back does not.
    Hi Pilar,
    The Ready2Grow stroller weighs 33lbs.

Where are the straps located to strap down the infant carseat? Manual does not show

  37. Niki February 21, 2012 at 1:20 am #

We have a 2 year old and are expecting our 2nd in March. Really love the idea of this stroller and the versatility (at a MUCH better price than other multiposition tandem strollers!). However, we live in the country, and I am concerned about the handling in various terrain. What are the wheels like and are they good for more than just sidewalk/paved roads? I wish the tandem strollers came with the 8-10″ pneumatic tires!!!

  38. Kacie McKee February 21, 2012 at 6:15 pm #

    Hi Niki,

We are excited to hear you are considering this stroller. To answer your questions, we use our standard wheels on the Ready2Grow, however, we do offer suspension on the front wheels providing enhanced maneuverability and durability. Hope this helps and feel free to reach out if you have any more questions.

    Kacie
