September is all about car safety—it’s National Car Safety Month and National Child Passenger Safety Month. And, at Graco, we’re extremely passionate about keeping kids safe in the car. This month, we teamed up with BabyCenter to host a live video chat on Facebook—with questions sent in from Twitter and Facebook—about car seat safety.
Moderated by Amy Lupold Bair (a.k.a. @ResourcefulMom), Safe Kids West Coast Operations Manager and CPST Wes Bender answered tons of questions during this informative 30 minute chat. In case you missed it, we’ve posted the entire video below. You’ll see that Wes demonstrates the features of the NEW Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™40 car seat (only rear-facing newborn to two year infant car seat on the market!), and he answers questions about why riding rear-facing is so important for little ones, expiration dates on car seats, whether or not it’s safe for a child to have crossed legs in a rear-facing car seat, the protocol on riding in a taxi with a child and much, much more. We bet you might even learn something you didn’t know!
Exciting news! During our chat, “Car Seat Safety” was a trending topic on Twitter (even with all of the usual celebrity news!). It was great to see the passion and terrific questions roll in about a truly important topic.
