Position at Graco: Sr. Demand Planner
How long at Graco: Almost 3 years
My favorite kids: Well of course my own, but any tiny baby is at the top of the list too. I love everything about the newborn stage. It’s all about snuggling and making them feel secure.
Latest “wondrous” moment: Seeing how my daughter interacts with her brother on a daily basis. She always surprises me with random acts of kindness towards her brother. Just last night he was fussing in his Sweetpeace and she casually walked over, told him “It’s ok, brother”, and gave him his pacifier and blanket bear lovey. He is constantly studying her actions and learning. I am proud he is learning such loving characteristics from his big sister.
Most memorable firsts: Jed’s first time on the baby swing at the playground in our sub division. He gets so excited! He flaps his arms and legs like a bird trying to take flight! It’s a riot! I may have to post a video clip.
You just have to know this about me: I used to be extremely shy. After graduating high school, I spent the summer working at an old time photography studio. I “burst out of my shell” just in time to start college in the fall. I haven’t stopped talking since.
If someone dumped out my purse they would find: Purse??? That was replaced by a diaper bag over four years ago and honestly only makes an appearance for the extremely rare childless outing. Although I must confess the contents of the diaper bag have changed over the past years to suit the needs of both children. Currently in the bag: wipes, diapers, various snacks, bottles, formula, crayons, coloring book, mini magna doodle, and hand sanitizer. My wallet also makes a guest appearance in the diaper bag on weekends when it vacations from my work tote bag.
The first thing I think of when I wake up is: How many times can I hit snooze without my husband asking if I am actually going to get out of bed?
